This month’s line up includes Billy D’Arcy, a masterful MC who has sold out Sydney & Melbourne Comedy Festivals. Andrew Wolfe is WA’s madman of comedy, always hilarious. Jackie Loeb, Aussie-born and LA-honed, is a musical prodigy with a sharp, silly, and lovable comedic mind. Anisa Nandaula is an award-winning poet and comic, seen on Channel 10’s Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Gen and one of Australia’s most celebrated artists. Rohan Arneil is a laidback killer taking Sydney by storm with his laconic style. Stella Wu is a RAW Comedy National Finalist 2024 and a real Sydney up-and-comer. Jamal Abdul is a Sydney Comedy Store regular, with a great self-deprecating humor.

Polish Film Festival is dedicated to celebrating the art of filmmaking by showcasing the best of contemporary Polish cinema. Haiti-born, Miami-raised Ashley Fils-Aime has toured Europe and Australia, opened for Pablo Francisco, and appeared on MTV, SiTV, and in How I Became A Vegetarian. Brett Nicholls, known for versatility, ad-libbing, and ‘clever’ and ‘rude’ humor, has performed on The Footy Show and Stand Up Australia, entertained troops, and was a finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He also warms up audiences for shows like Ready Steady Cook! and Top Gear Australia. Emma Leonard is a Sydney comedy regular, performs at Improv Theatre Sydney, and debuted at the Sydney Comedy Festival.

American cellist Annie Jacobs-Perkins, acclaimed for her “hypnotic lyricism” (The New Yorker) and unique cello techniques (The Democrat and Chronicle), debuts at Hayes Street Studio. She will perform Bach’s Cello Suite No. 3 and, with flautist Rosie Gallagher and pianist Lee Dionne, Kaija Saariaho’s Cendres and Fanny Mendelssohn’s Trio in D minor, Op. 11.

Inspired by a true story, Fly Girl embarks on Deborah Lawrie’s turbulent journey to becoming Australia’s first female commercial airline pilot.
