The North Sydney Sun is thrilled to announce that journalist James Mullan will be the MC for this year’s Canine Capers, proudly supported by Pet Medical Milsons Point, at the highly anticipated Crows Nest Festival.

Expected to draw over 50,000 attendees, the festival promises to showcase the vibrant spirit of the Crows Nest community. With more than 200 market stalls, the renowned Gourmet Food Alley, and a bustling Food Truck Alley, this year’s event offers an expansive and delicious journey. The festival footprint has expanded, now stretching beyond Willoughby Road to include the lively streets surrounding the Crows Nest Metro, offering even more engaging activities for all.

The Canine Capers event is supported by Pet Medical Milsons Point and will be hosted in Ernest Place, on the John Griffin Memorial Stage. 20 local dogs and their owners compete in fun categories such as best lookalike, best biscuit catcher, and the ever-popular People’s Choice Award. Canine Capers will be on stage from 10:00 am to 11:45 am.

Pet Medical Milsons Point has plenty of excellent prizes to give out to the best in show. Three first-place prize winners will each receive an annual vaccination and 12 months of complimentary deworming (prize vouchers will include applicable Terms & Conditions). Additionally, 20 contestants will receive goodie bags, each containing a Pet Medical Milsons Point branded tote bag, Pet Medical merchandise, and a complimentary consultation voucher (valued at $149).

The North Sydney Sun has joined in the fun with our very own James Mullan hosting the event. A number of other local businesses have generously donated prizes for the competition. Pet Medicine, Farmtastic Doggy Day Care, Unique Wholefoods, C9 Chocolate and Gelato, Purina, and Brewmance have stepped up to offer rewards for our four-legged mates (and their humans too!). Plus Big Music Crows Nest, will be on the DJ decks for the day.
