Mary’s North Sydney will introduce a permanent weekend brunch service beginning on Father’s Day, with the offering to run each Saturday and Sunday between 9am and 2pm.

The move follows a one-week breakfast pop-up trial in June, which management described as successful in attracting local patronage. Co-founder Jake Smyth said the new format was being introduced “by popular demand.”

The brunch menu includes both à la carte items and a $55 Bottomless Brunch package. The latter will be served as a set menu accompanied by unlimited drinks, including mimosas, Bloody Marys, wine, beer and filter coffee.

À la carte options span coffee, donuts, muffins, breakfast burgers, biscuits with gravy and a variety of pancake stacks. The “Full Brekky Burger” combines sausage, bacon, egg, cheese, a hash brown and house sauce, while vegetarian alternatives include the “Morning Glory” with mushrooms and smoked ketchup. Sweet items range from a classic pancake stack with butter and maple syrup through to choc-chip pancakes with honeycomb butter or a maple-glazed fried chicken stack.

More expansive plates are also listed, such as the “Full Mary” short stack with bacon, pattie, egg and hash browns, and the “Widow Maker,” a larger variant with double bacon, multiple patties and eggs. Prices range from $12 for a pancake short stack through to $35 for the Widow Maker.

The bar menu includes $10 margaritas, mimosas, palomas and a “Spicy Pickle Margarita” alongside the brunch food.

The new brunch is being introduced only at the North Sydney venue, located at Victoria Cross, Tenancy T16/155-189 Miller Street. Mary’s has adjusted its trading hours to 11am–9pm Monday to Wednesday, 11am–10pm Thursday and Friday, 9am–10pm Saturday and 9am–8pm Sunday.

Mary’s Group operates a number of venues across Sydney and regional NSW, with the North Sydney outlet one of the most recent additions to its network.
