McDonald’s Cremorne has reopened its doors following a three-month long, $2.1 million renovation.
The redevelopment was a part of a broader initiative to open 100 new restaurants and remodel half of its existing establishments nationwide by the end of 2025.
Located on the corner of Military Road and Winnie Street, it now sports a new dual lane drive thru, exterior, terrace, dining room, amenities and dedicated partner delivery room as well as a newly positioned front counter and McCafé.
“We are excited to celebrate the grand reopening of our local restaurant in Cremorne, creating an additional 20 operational jobs,” Licensee for McDonald’s Cremorne Jim Pollicina said.
“Reinvestment is an important part of our ongoing commitment to providing customers with the best possible experience when they visit our restaurants.”
He added: “It also allows us to create new jobs for members of the local community, through expanding our operational capabilities to allow us to provide quicker and more efficient service for our customers.
“We appreciate our customers’ patience during construction and look forward to welcoming them back to the newly refurbished McDonald’s Cremorne, serving up our great quality, great tasting menu once again.”
Grand opening celebrations will kick off at 11am to 1pm on September 21 with an appearance from Ronald McDonald, cake cutting and face painting.
Customers will also be treated to special pocket change offers including a Cheeseburger and a McCafe Small Coffee for $2 each.
Pollicina, who joined McDonald’s as a Crew Member over 44 years ago, now employs over 1,400 members of the community across 13 restaurants in Sydney – Bass Hill, Cremorne, Drummoyne, Greenacre North, Greenacre II, Enfield, Lansvale, Liverpool Mega Centre, Seven Hills Centre, Seven Hills North, Strand, Sydney Central Plaza and Warwick Farm.
