Hungry Jack’s has reopened in North Sydney with a new outlet at the Northpoint Shopping Centre, re-establishing the brand’s presence north of the harbour bridge.
The single-level, inline restaurant includes seven digital self-service kiosks and a 36-seat dining area. Digital ordering technology is deployed across the store, reflecting the chain’s broader rollout of technology designed to speed up service in high-foot-traffic locations. The store will trade daily from 6am to 11pm. Breakfast will be available until 11am, barista-made coffee from Jack’s Café will be served all day, and delivery services will operate during trading hours.
Hungry Jack’s said the opening created 36 new jobs across a variety of positions. The launch also coincides with the introduction of limited-time menu items such as the “Aussie Pub Classics Range,” alongside standard items including the Whopper and Jack’s Fried Chicken.

Steen Brandt, general manager for New South Wales, described the outlet as part of Hungry Jack’s inner-city expansion strategy. He noted that the North Sydney site had been selected for its central position and pedestrian volume.
The restaurant is located within the Northpoint Shopping Centre precinct at Miller Street, an area with a concentration of food and beverage operators catering to office workers and residents.
Hungry Jack’s, which operates more than 470 stores across Australia, was founded in Perth in 1971. The business is owned by Competitive Foods Australia, chaired by Jack Cowin. The company continues to invest in digital ordering platforms, menu expansion and delivery integration while also citing initiatives in packaging sustainability, staff scholarships and partnerships with organisations including Make-A-Wish Australia and Taronga Zoo.
