Organisers of the Crows Nest Festival have confirmed that this year’s community event will take place on Sunday, 18 October 2026. Now entering its 35th year, the Crows Nest Fest is one of Sydney’s most popular free street festivals, drawing an estimated 50,000 visitors over the course of the day.
The event, spearheaded by Crows Nest Mainstreet and supported by North Sydney Council, aims once again to inject energy, creativity, and community spirit into the Crows Nest village.
The festival’s footprint will transform a significant portion of the area, encompassing Willoughby Road from Five Ways to Albany Street, the Willoughby to Hume walk-through, Hume Street Park, Burlington Street to Willoughby Lane, Clarke Street, Hume Street, Ernest Place, and Holtermann Street.
Attendees can look forward to over 200 curated exhibitor stalls, a dedicated Gourmet Food Alley, and a licensed area for refreshments. Entertainment will span 2–3 stages, showcasing a variety of live music and dance performances, complemented by roving entertainers throughout the precinct.

Family-friendly fun will be a key feature in the Kids Entertainment Alley, which is set to host a petting zoo, pony rides, circus workshops, and more. For the creatively minded, an Art Battle and various interactive creative experiences are also on the agenda.
In a separate announcement, Expressions of Interest are now officially open for stallholders wishing to participate in the Crows Nest Fest 2026.
Prospective stallholders are advised to act quickly, as positions are described as “very limited” due to the festival’s high popularity. EOIs are set to close on 31 March 2026. Successful applicants will be notified shortly after, with selection notifications scheduled for issue by 10 April 2026.
