Crows Nest Fest 25 will be held this Sunday, October 19, with an expanded footprint along Willoughby Rd, Burlington St, Clarke St, Hume St, Holtermann St, Hume Ln, Crows Nest, from 10am – 5pm.

Organisers anticipate attendances of 50,000+ across the day and have confirmed that the Crows Nest Metro will be open and operational on the day, providing easy access for event attendees.

The festival is a free event with 200+ stalls. There will be 3 stages of Live Music and Performances, Canine Capers, a Gourmet Food Alley and Licensed Area, Art.Beats.Bar, Kids Entertainment Zone, including Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, and Circus Playground plus Roving Entertainers.

The event site build will commence on Sunday at 12 midnight and dismantling of the event site will occur on Sunday immediately after the event until late evening. At 3am, structures and marquee build will commence on various closed roadways.

NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURES

From 12.01am to 11pm, Sunday, October 19

  • Willoughby Rd closed between Burlington St and Albany St
  • Willoughby Rd (one-way) closed from Burlington St to Falcon St
  • Clarke St closed between Willoughby Rd and Oxley St
  • Clarke Ln closed between Hume St and Oxley St
  • Burlington St closed between Willoughby Rd and Willoughby Ln
  • Holtermann St closed between Willoughby Rd and Zig Zag Ln
  • Hume St closed between Pacific Hwy and Pole Ln
  • Hume Ln closed between Clarke Ln and Pole Ln
  • Zig Zag Ln closed near Burlington St

Overall low to medium direct impact to normal traffic conditions is anticipated. Critical traffic along Pacific Hwy will not be affected. To the residents and businesses affected by this event, the road closures above may mean that access to and from premises or homes is affected, and it is requested that access is kept outside the event operational times: Sunday, October 19, 12 midnight – Sunday, October 19, 11pm.

TEMPORARY BUS STOPS

The following bus routes [114, 115, 263, 265 & 267] will be diverting from their regular routes while roads are closed. Check signs at stops for alternative locations and visit transportnsw.info to plan trips.

CAR PARKING

The following public car parks are open to the public during event times:

  1. Hume Street car park: open 24/7, entrance on Pole Ln. Two hours free parking, after that normal paid parking. Paid parking hours between 7am and 11pm, Monday to Saturday. Free parking all day Sunday.
  2. Holtermann Street car park: open 24/7, entrance on Holtermann St. Two hours free parking, after that normal paid parking. Paid parking hours between 7am and 11pm, Monday to Saturday. Free parking all day Sunday.
  3. Nicholson Street car park: open 24/7, entrance on Nicholson St. Two hours free parking, after that normal paid parking. Paid parking hours between 7am and 11pm, Monday to Saturday. Free parking all day Sunday.
  4. Alexander Street car park: open 24/7, entrance on Burlington St. Two hours free parking, after that normal paid parking.

Wheelchairs / mobility scooters will be accessible via existing roadways and footpaths across the event site.

Residents who feel they are being adversely affected by the event can contact the hotline. If a name and location are left, the event management team will endeavour, where feasible, to address the concern.
