Reddam House North Shore have announced Dave and Dee Pitcairn as the first and founding heads of the institution’s newest campus.
Located at 41 McLaren Street, at the 1972 historic Simsmetal House, the eight-storey building will accommodate more than 1350 students from kindergarten to year 12.
The pair have been the current principals of the original Reddam House Sydney (RHS) campus in Woollahra for more than 15 years.
“Dave and Dee have been pivotal to RHS’s success, and we are pleased they will be at the forefront of expanding Inspired and Reddam’s footprint in Australia,” Nadim M Nsouli, Founder of Inspired – the global education group running RHS – said.
“[They] helped set up the very first Reddam school in South Africa more than 20 years ago and given their extraordinary abilities and intimate knowledge of the Sydney market we felt they were the perfect leaders to bring an Inspired education to our new North Shore community.”
Inspired CEO Glenn Andrew said the new campus with its premium facilities and holistic, modern educational experience is at the heart of the company’s offerings.
“The vast 9000 square metres of floor space will include outdoor terraces with play areas; multiple libraries; music studios; bespoke arts, design & tech areas; dance studios; multipurpose breakout spaces; a gym, sports hall; and auditorium,” he added.
“The school will be supported by modern resources, top-tier teachers and offer a diverse and comprehensive curriculum that prepares students for the challenges of the 21st century.”
Andrew continued: “Students will have access to global exchange and summer camp programmes, an international curriculum, and collaborations with world-leading academic and arts colleges equipping them for success in their academic pursuits and future careers within an ever-evolving global landscape.”
Reddam North Shore is set to welcome its first cohort of students from Term 1 next year.
