Marist Catholic College North Shore’s campus transformation is well underway with the official opening of its latest, four-level facility, on the corner of Miller and Carlow Street in North Sydney.
Principal Anthony Boys officially opened the new structure on Wednesday, 19 November. The $63 million project, a key part of the school’s masterplan, began construction in 2023 following the college’s transition to a co-educational model in 2021.

The building is a state-of-the-art educational hub, boasting 30 new classrooms, a modern library, and various amenities, including a basement car park and a rooftop playground featuring solar panels.
Principal Boys remarked on the significance of the new addition, stating it “is emblematic of the vibrant and innovative future for Marist Catholic College North Shore and the families it serves.”
“This new facility is a statement about the kind of learning community we are becoming,” he said. “It has been expertly designed to support the very best teaching and learning, and we’re excited to see our educators and students bring this building to life.”

The campus master plan aims to incrementally boost student capacity from the current 1,300 to 2,000 students by 2030. This expansion includes the provision for a 90-place early learning centre. Further development is also planned, including the construction of another four-storey building along Miller Street, which will house additional classrooms and an auditorium.
The college is also planning a full restoration of the presbytery building, located next to St Mary’s Church, alongside the creation of a landscaped piazza.
