A man has been arrested after allegedly making a threatening gesture outside a synagogue in  Cremorne. Police were called to Yeo Street at approximately 9:55 AM after a male was seen pointing what was believed to be a firearm from a moving truck towards a synagogue.

Later, at around 11:30 AM, officers from the North Shore Police Area Command arrested two men on Raglan Street in Mosman. The passenger, a 23-year-old man, was taken to Chatswood Police Station to assist with inquiries but has since been released pending further investigation. The driver, a 21-year-old man, was also released pending further inquiries.

Officers from Raptor, the Dog Unit, and Traffic and Highway Patrol assisted in the search for the alleged firearm, but nothing was located. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
