Labor’s Sarah Griffin has drawn top position on a five candidate ballot paper for the seat of Willoughby at the March 25 state election.
Edmund McGrath for the Greens scored second, independent Larissa Penn third and the Sustainable Australia Party’s Michael Want fourth.
Sitting member Tim James drew the last position.
The seat is the focus of media fascination following Larissa Penn’s massive 20% swing in last year’s by-election where she nearly beat James, the Liberal candidate who replaced Gladys Berejiklian. James won with a tight 53-47 margin.
Sportsbet has opened a betting market on the seat. It places the Liberals as the favourite at odds of 1.65 or a probability of around 60% for victory, Larissa Penn at 2.20, Labor at 13.00 and the Greens at 24.00.
