Flannerys will open its doors in Neutral Bay on Friday 19 June, marking the grocer’s second Sydney location and its ninth store across Australia.
The shop will be located in Theo’s Arcade on Military Road and will offer a range of certified organic wholefoods, bulk pantry staples, vitamins, supplements and natural health products. The new location will also include a naturopath service, through which customers can receive complimentary advice in store. Naturopath consultations will also be available in a private clinic.
Flannerys CEO Fergus Collins said the opening represented an opportunity to bring organic retail and wellness expertise to the North Shore.

“Flannerys fits into places where people are already thinking carefully about what they bring into their homes and how it supports the way they want to live,” he said.
“Neutral Bay is the perfect place for this, with growing demand for wellness products, quality food options and trusted guidance that supports healthier lifestyles.”
Established in 1976 as Mrs Flannery’s, the family-run business sold the franchise in 2008 and is today operated by The Natural Grocery Company. It currently has eight stores in Queensland and two in New South Wales, including locations at Mona Vale and Murwillumbah.
“The response we have seen in Mona Vale has given us great confidence in Sydney and reinforced that there is a strong appetite for what Flannerys offers,” Collins said.
“As the Neutral Bay area continues to evolve, so too does the expectation for spaces and services that support a more health-conscious way of living. We look forward to becoming part of the community and providing an offering that makes everyday wellness easy and accessible.”
The shop will be neighbouring local favourite and organically aligned Naturally Organic Meats & Poultry in Theo’s Arcade. The opening marks the return of an organic food and products store to the area after Natural Food Market, formerly located at 184 Military Road, permanently closed in early 2023.
