Developer Deicorp has announced that Marriott has been awarded the contract to move into their 22 storey Falcon & Alexander project at Fiveways Crows Nest.
Courtyard by Marriott will be a 100-room hotel as part of the massive $640 million mixed-use development opening in late 2027 as part of a 212-apartment complex located between Pacific Highway, Falcon St and Alexander St in Crows Nest. Deicorp also announced Trilogy Hotels will be the operator in collaboration with Marriott.
In December 2025, the originally approved plans were successfully modified to remove all offices, reduce shops, and add a 100-room hotel and increase the number of residential apartments from 188 to 212.
Courtyard by Marriott Sydney Crows Nest will occupy the first three levels of the development.

In a statement announcing the news, Marriott International’s Director of Hotel Development for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, Tristan Cooper, said Marriott is “ideally suited to this vibrant, well-connected north shore location. We believe the hotel will generate strong demand and contribute to precinct activation through its contemporary guest offering, and we look forward to seeing the entire precinct come to life.”
Courtyard by Marriott previously had a Sydney location in North Ryde, which ceased operations in January 2025. There are 1,250 Courtyards by Marriott worldwide, with the Marriott International portfolio including 9,900 total properties.
CEO of operator Trilogy Hotels, Scott Boyes, said “Sydney’s North Shore is rapidly becoming a vibrant extension of the CBD through new transport connections, and this hotel will deliver for our owners, create opportunities for our teams, and provide experiences for guests in one of Sydney’s most dynamic emerging precincts.”
Construction is currently in progress, with the Falcon & Alexander project scheduled to open in late 2027.
