The NSW Government has announced as part of its 2025-2026 budget that Cammeray Public School has been allocated $5,308,000 to build a new two-storey building on campus.
The new building will include 4 new permanent classrooms, 2 practical activities areas, 2 multipurpose spaces and will include a lift and covered walkways. The new structure will replace demountable buildings that currently occupy the space.

The new building’s design is complete, and the construction tender is currently being prepared. The tender is expected to be released by mid-March 2025, with the contract anticipated to be awarded to a builder by mid-2025. Once the builder has been appointed, they will work on a detailed design for the upgrade and establish a construction timeline.
