McDonald’s Australia has begun renovations on its restaurant located at the corner of Military Road and Winnie Street in Cremorne. This development is part of the company’s broader initiative to open 100 new restaurants and remodel half of its existing establishments nationwide by the end of 2025.

The upcoming McDonald’s Cremorne will feature a variety of modern amenities designed to enhance both customer experience and operational efficiency. The new facilities will include a dual-lane drive-thru, a contemporary exterior and terrace, an upgraded dining room, improved amenities, and a dedicated partner delivery room. Additionally, the restaurant will have a newly positioned front counter and McCafé.

Jim Pollicina, the licensee of McDonald’s Cremorne, has a long-standing history with the company, having started as a crew member over 44 years ago. Today, Pollicina employs over 1,400 community members across 13 restaurants in Sydney, including locations in Bass Hill, Drummoyne, Greenacre, Enfield, and several others.

“We are excited to start construction on our local restaurant in Cremorne, injecting over $2.1 million into the local economy and creating over 80 jobs for local construction workers and restaurant employees,” said Pollicina. “Reinvestment is an important part of our ongoing commitment to providing customers with the best possible experience when they visit our restaurants.”

Pollicina emphasised the importance of these investments in creating new job opportunities for the local community and improving service efficiency. “It allows us to expand our operational capabilities to provide quicker and more efficient service for our customers,” he added. “We appreciate our customers’ patience over the coming months and look forward to welcoming them to the newly refurbished McDonald’s Cremorne, serving up our great quality, great tasting menu.”
