The Mayflower St. Leonards plans a collaboration with Jo Siahaan (Ume Burger & Best BBQ Ever Home Catering) for four Sunday Sessions featuring international BBQs beginning next weekend.

The BBQ sessions start on November 12th with a Brazilian feast, from 3pm until sold out. This will feature a smorgasbord of rump cap picanha, Rodriguez Bros chorizo, roasted pineapple, soft bread rolls, and chimichurri. For the vegetarians, meats will be swapped out for the likes of roasted peppers and eggplant.

November 19th features Korean BBQ. Then, on November 26th, it’s a classic American BBQ homage. Two weeks later, a Mediterranean extravaganza features on December 10th, with buttery lamb shoulder, delectable sujuk beef sausage, garlic labneh, golden pita and – a delightful twist for the vegetarians – grilled halloumi!

Jo Siahaan is known for infusing Japanese elements into beloved burger delights over at Ume Burger.. “Teaming up with The Mayflower is a really exciting opportunity and together, we’re serving a global BBQ experience that promises to be both delightful and memorable,” says Siahaan.
