Pocket Pizza, the beloved Italian-American eatery that has garnered a loyal following across the Northern Beaches, has officially opened its doors in Neutral Bay, bringing its popular New York-style experience to the corner of Young and Grosvenor Streets.

First opened in 2015 by friends Ben Pichon and Dylan Eisenhut, Pocket Pizza quickly became a staple, starting just off the Manly Corso before relocating to a larger site on Pittwater Road. Following its immediate success, the team expanded with a second site in Brookvale in 2022 and another in Avalon the year after.

Now, the institution has jumped the Spit Bridge to its biggest location yet at 24 Young Street in Neutral Bay. Diners can expect the same cool retro vibe, featuring hand-stretched, Brooklyn-style pizzas and comforting Italian fare. The new site was previously occupied by Pocket Pita Pop Up and, more recently, El Guapo Cantine.

Co-founders Pichon and Eisenhut first announced their expansion to the North Shore back in August 2025. In a statement on the launch, management expressed their excitement for the new venture.

“Pocket Pizza has finally touched down in Neutral Bay with our biggest location yet,” the statement read. “The not so ‘pocket’ sized spot sits on the corner of Grosvenor & Young St, Neutral Bay. Boasting all the Pocket Pizza favs, from Fusilli & Vodka sauce to the Netflix & Chilli….. we can’t wait to welcome you to your new neighbourhood pizza parlour.”
